Pranitha Subhash made her debut in Telugu with blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi but couldn’t continue the success streak. She settled in the Kannada industry with occasional films in Tollywood. The filmmakers didn’t show much interest to cast her in Telugu films. She was last seen in Ram Pothineni’s Hello guru prema kosame. However, she managed to break into the Bollywood industry and awaiting the release of her debut film, Bhuj, starring Ajay Devgan in the lead role. Meanwhile, she signed another film in Bollywood, Hungama 2.
It is the sequel to the blockbuster Hungama which was released in 2003. Veteran director, Priyadarshan, who has directed the original will handle the sequel too. After the phenomenal success of Hungama, Priyadarshan settled in Bollywood with occasional Malayalam films. Hungama 2 marks his comeback to Bollywood after 7 years. Pranitha Subhash said that she has never done a full-length comedy role and is excited about working with veteran actors like Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty. Malaal fame, Meezaan Jaaferi is playing the lead role in the film. Pranitha is playing his love interest in the film. The shooting is expected to begin soon.
