Gopichand is currently doing a film under the direction of Sampath Nandi with a working title, Gopichand 28. Tamannaah is playing the female lead in the film. Sampath Nandi tweeted about the completion of the first schedule of the film and expressed his happiness over the output of the schedule.
The film is going to be an action entertainer with several comedy sequences throughout the film. Gopichand is playing the role of the coach of Andhra women’s kabaddi team while Tamannaah will be seen as the coach of Telangana women’s kabaddi team. The first schedule is shot within 15 days and has some crucial scenes between Gopichand and his kabaddi team. As per the reports, Gopichand and Tamannaah will be seen as rivals challenging each other and there will be a lot of romantic sequences between them. Srinivas Chitturi is bankrolling the project under the Srinivasaa Silverscreen banner. The makers are planning to complete the shooting by summer 2020 and release the film in mid-2020.
