Kangana Ranaut strongly refutes Krish’s accusations about Manikarnika

Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika landed in controversy when Krish left the project for NTR biopic. However, there were no official reports about what exactly happened. The trailer of the film stirred controversy when they included the name of Kangana Ranaut as director along with Krish. Kangana surprised everyone by saying that she has directed over 70% of the film as Krish left the project mid-way due to other commitments.

Krish about Manikarnika controversy:

Krish remained silent until the release of the film. But he started narrating his version of the incident in interviews. He said that he had completed the shooting and Kangana Ranaut decided to shoot for the patchwork. But she grew insecure about the character of Sonu Sood overpowering her. So, she re-shot several scenes by convincingly changing the story. He said that he shot most of the film and handed over gold, while Kangana turned it into silver. Several prominent Bollywood personalities like Pooja Bhatt supported Krish.

Kangana Ranaut about Manikarnika controversy:

The writer of dialogues and lyrics of the film, Prasoon Joshi, and Kangana’s sister, Rangoli, came forward to refute the allegations made by him. Prasoon Joshi praised Kangana by saying that she took the film, Manikarnika, to a whole new level with her performance and direction. Rangoli said that Kangana shot over 70% of the film and looked after post-production within a couple of months while Krish was busy with other projects.

In a recent media interaction at the airport, Kangana Ranaut responded to the allegations in her usual harsh tone. She told Krish to talk to producers about the issue instead of making accusations in the media. She further added that she completed the film while Krish left it for NTR Biopic. While talking about editing out the roles, she said that even she came from a humble background and many of her roles were chopped. Kangana advised Krish to stop damaging the film and move on. Meanwhile, producer of the film, Kamal Jain, supported Kangana.
